Caving tour
Enjoy a unique and authentic experience in the heart of the Frasassi Caves. The caving adventure tour lets you step into the shoes of a real caver, traversing sections of the cave without walkways or artificial lighting.
An engaging and dynamic activity, perfect for those wishing to discover the most hidden and evocative parts of the underground complex.
Equipped with a coverall, helmet and boots, you will tackle a route through tunnels, natural chambers and passages shaped by water.
During the tour, you will be accompanied by expert caving guides who will ensure your safety and provide support throughout the journey.
Two types of route are available:
- Red route: more challenging, featuring some narrow but short passages (around 15–20 metres), suitable for those in good physical condition.
- Blue route: more accessible but still adventurous, ideal for a first caving experience.
